3 events to book early for London families

Giffords Circus
Popular live circus Giffords Circus is back on tour in summer 2020, and tickets are on sale for their 20th anniversary performance titled The Hooley. The Hooley, directed by Cal McCrystal and presented by Nell Gifford, will be performing at Chiswick House and Gardens in London from 25 June to 13 July 2020, promising a family-friendly show with celtic rhythms, fairy folk and clowning. The running time is 90 minutes, and seating is unreserved.

Carols at the Royal Albert Hall
At Royal Albert Hall, the popular festive carol events Carols at the Royal Albert Hall will be back in the days leading up to Christmas from 21 to 24 December and tickets are already on sale. The carol-singing events are ideal for families wanting to dress up in Christmas jumpers or novelty hats and decorating seats or boxes in tinsel and lights to get in the spirit of Christmas while singing along to a mix of classic and modern Christmas hits. (Tickets for other 2020 Christmas events at Royal Albert Hall have also gone on sale.)

RHS Chelsea Flower Show
For parents or families with older children planning to visit the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May, these tickets are also on sale and always seem to be worth booking early. Children under 5 are not admitted to the show, and older children attending the show will need a full-price ticket. (Families with young children wanting to get in the spirit of this uniquely British event may want to explore the often beautifully-decorated shopfronts in the local area instead of going to the actual flower show.)
