What the Ladybird Heard at Rose Theatre
The stage adaptation of the popular children’s book What the Ladybird Heard by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks will be playing at Rose Theatre in Kingston from 29 May to 3 June. The show, which features live music, puppetry and audience interaction, tells the story of two robbers who try to steal a farmer’s fine prize cow, but a little ladybird has a plan on her own.

Not Now, Bernard at Unicorn Theatre
From 27 May to 1 July Not Now, Bernard is playing at Unicorn Theatre from 27 May to 1 July. The show, a new version directed by Sarah Argent, is based on the picture book by David McKee, which tells the story about Bernard, who is bored and tries to get the attention from his dad. Not Now, Bernard is aimed at children aged 3 to 6 and the running time is around 50 minutes.

And a festival with theatre:

Techtopia at Polka Theatre
At Polka Theatre, it is all about technology this half term, with the Techtopia festival exploring the role of technology in modern childhood running until 3 June. The festival includes theatre, but also a lot more, including interactive workshops, debates, installations and other learning experiences.
