03 things to do with kids in London this week
Kids Cupcake Decorating Class at Bluebird
On Thursday 26 January Bluebird in Chelsea is hosting a kids cupcake decorating class in the Food Store. The class, which is £15 per child, starts at 4pm, and little ones can get creative with fresh cupcakes, lots of icing and fun decorations.
Magical Lantern Festival at Chiswick House & Gardens
Last week marked the opening of the Magical Lantern Festival at Chiswick House & Gardens, and the outdoor event is running for a second year in a row, celebrating Chinese New Year. The theme this year is ‘Explore the Silk Road’ and there are giant lanterns, highlighting the route of trade and culture from Europe to Ancient China. In addition to the light trail, there’s an ice rink, a virtual gaming experience, an ice bar and a mini fun fair at the festival, which is now open until 26 February.
Kids Club Sunday at Goat
To enjoy a lazy lunch with fun for the whole family, head to Goat on Fulham Road on Sunday. During term time Goat has Kids Club from noon to 3pm every Sunday, and there’s a different entertainer from Froggle Parties entertaining the children in the restaurant during this time. We’ve been a number of times with friends, and it’s been great fun for four-year-old Big Girl.
