3 things to do with kids this weekend

Family Day at NatWest T20Blast
On Saturday 25 June Surrey play Essex at Kia Oval in Kennington, and it’s a special family day, featuring on-field entertainment and activities for children to enjoy in the Kids Fan Zone. There will be face painting, player autograph signings, free giveaways, a visit from Caesar the Lion and a chance to try cricketing skills. The match starts at 2pm and will last around 3 hours. There’s a special seating area reserved for families, and Surrey County Cricket Club has a great offer on for families for the NatWest T20 Blast, with child tickets to matches being only £1.

Summer Fun Day in Parsons Green
Boutiques, businesses and restaurants in Parsons Green have teamed up for a summer fun day on Saturday 25 June, and there will be everything from games, balloons and face painting for kids to wine tasting for parents. At Cuckoo Hibou (pictured above) there will be French biscuit tasting, Savills will have strawberries and cream, and other businesses have lots of different summer activities on offer. There will also be a raffle in aid of The Daisy Trust with great prizes to win.

Fine Motor Skills Workshop with London’s Little Thinkers and Trunkaroo at London Nursery Schools
London’s Little Thinkers, founded by a local independent prep school teacher, and Trunkaroo, a STEM-focused kids project box provider, have teamed up for a second Fine Motor Skills workshop. The free event (register online), designed for children aged three to six and their parents, will take place at London Nursery Schools in Kensington from 4.30 to 5.30pm on Friday 24 June.
