23 unique Father’s Day gift ideas for London dads
SwitchArt magnetic frames from AllPosters.co.uk
Father’s Day came early for Daddy T this year, and Baby Girl and I gave him a magnetic art frame from AllPosters.co.uk with two different prints to choose from, which we had received to review. I wanted to write about these new and cool magnetic frames, as I think they are brilliant for families and as gifts, and they give parents the option to easily switch framed photos by peeling off the special magnetic prints. The challenge, however, is to choose. Daddy T decided he loved both prints and wanted to have both on display on the wall in our study, so we had to buy a second frame from AllPosters.co.uk for him. We can now keep buying the peel-and-stick prints and change the prints in the frames if we get even better photos we’d like to have on the wall, or simply want to add Baby Boy to the wall collection. A versatile and unique Father’s Day gift that we can keep adding to in years to come!
Personalised keepsakes from Sammy Duder
Last year a friend went to Sammy Duder in Battersea to make clay handprints of her daughter’s little hands and had these framed for a truly special Father’s Day gift. They look so wonderful on their wall now, and I would love to do the same later this year with Baby Girl’s and Baby Boy’s hands in one sibling frame, as it makes for a lasting memory and is really beautifully done at Sammy Duder. For Father’s Day, I also think the silver cufflinks from Sammy Duder make fantastic gifts, as they can be made with little fingerprints – and it’s even possible to fit siblings on the same cufflinks – and the pottery with the addition of the unique writing service is also ideal for gifts. Baby Girl got to choose what to make herself this year, and she wanted to make a mug for Daddy T to have in the office and she decided it should say: ‘I heart Daddy’ on the side. Sweet and special!
A golf day out at ISPS Handa Ladies European Masters
On Father’s Day last year, a friend and I sent the dads out for a seldom round of golf, a surprise gift that went down well. This year, I’m tempting Daddy T with an invitation to join me at the Buckinghamshire Golf Course for the ISPS Handa Ladies European Masters, where I’ll be speaking on a panel about multi-tasking on the Ladies Day on 2 July. Throughout the tournament (2-5 July), there will be a PING Swing Zone where visitors can enjoy free golf lessons with PGA professionals; a Golf Zone with fun ways to try out golf; a tented village with shopping opportunities; and artisan market. A fantastic day out for dads who want to share the joy of golf with the entire family! (Tickets are available to buy from HERE)
