03 ways to celebrate Pancake Day with kids in London
Enjoy pancake decorating at Bluebird Cafe
On 13 February Bluebird in Chelsea is hosting a children’s pancake decorating workshop in Bluebird Cafe. Children can get stuck in and decorate pancakes with sprinkles, fruit and chocolate. The class is £12 per child and starts at 3.30pm. Tickets can be booked online.
Try the Pip & Nut Pancake Pop-Up at Whole Foods
Natural nut butter brand Pip & Nut is hosting a two-day Pancake Day celebration pop-up at Whole Foods Kensington on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 February from 9am to 7pm. There will be sweet and savoury options and a range of tasty toppings, and the first 100 pancakes during the pop-up’s happy hours from 11am to noon and 4pm to 5pm will be free. There will also be pancake tasters in the other London Whole Foods store on Tuesday 13 February between noon and 3pm.
Visit Chelsea Crêperie
In autumn, the mumpreneur behind Chelsea Swim Spa opened Chelsea Creperie opposite Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The crêperie now offers sweet and savoury crepes–breakfast, lunch and dinner options. There are a range of options, including gluten-free and vegan crepes, and there’s a £5 meal deal for a crêpe and a drink. There’s also an option to book crepe parties.
