5 activities to keep kids in London entertained over the school holiday

Go see Beauty and the Beast
The much-anticipated live action Beauty and the Beast film, starring Emma Watson, is now in cinemas nationwide, and for families with children in the appropriate age group it’s sure to be a must-see

Run around in the National Army Museum’s Play Base
The National Army Museum reopened on 30 March, and the museum now has a huge Play Base with soft play, an assault course and role-play areas. Tickets for sessions at the Play Base–designed for children aged 0 to 8–are available to book online

Get crafty with art kits
For entertaining kids at home or on the go, art sets from places like Wilko, Baker Ross, Sainsbury’s or Hobbycraft can be great fun. I’m very excited about the Pom Pom Family kit I bought from Sainsbury’s the other day!

Sammy Duder Easter eggs

Paint pottery at Sammy Duder
Welcoming pottery studio Sammy Duder in Battersea is fun to visit for both young and old, and families who go this week will enjoy the range of Easter-themed pottery to paint, including Easter bunnies and eggs

Get climbing at Clip n’ Climb
Chelsea’s indoor climbing venue Clip n’ Climb boasts an exciting range of different climbing walls, and a session at Clip n’Climb can be fun for both children aged 4 and over and adults. There’s also a cafe with a viewing area, which is ideal for parents who prefer to watch instead
