5 signs it’s the summer holidays
1. Daddy T has decided it’s brilliant fun to do a puzzle in the evening after the kids have gone to bed, and bought nine new ones after only a week’s holiday
2. As I’ve practically forgotten about myself when packing, I visited a family attraction this week wearing red, borrowed wellies, a green and orange top, a big sailing jacket and a white jumper tied in a knot across my chest to avoid me getting stuck when going down a hill on an inflatable ring. True holiday style!
3. My favourite pastime activity has become playing Uno
4. I’ve bought Uno Junior, trying to teach Big Girl, who’s soon to turn four, to play the card game so I can play more
5. I’ve survived nine visits to various toy shops abroad, and that’s not counting airport shops
