5 things I love about the school holiday
1. Despite the one day Big Boy woke up at 4am and I couldn’t get him back to sleep, I feel I’ve been catching up on sleep – particularly today when Big Girl woke up at 9.30am. Yay, we got there!
2. Big Boy, Big Girl and I took the bus to Piccadilly Circus one morning and there seemed to be no traffic, which made breakfast at Ham Yard Hotel a perfectly doable excursion
3. This week has reminded me of little joys in life, and Big Boy has announced excitedly that he really wants to show the London bus to grandparents. A set winner for a future visit!
4. We’ve finally made it to the library – and then sorted out books at home, bought a Pom Pom garland with fairy lights and cut out pretend library cards. Feeling inspired!
5. I think I’ve watched more Christmas romcoms than any other year, and Daddy T has been busy building LEGO after we gave him the Disney Magic Kingdom Castle building set for Christmas. Evenings are precious!
