Pregnancy Tine with baby boy

5 times it’s been worth remembering this too shall pass

1. The evening I realised I’d developed mastitis after Baby Boy had been feeding less due to a cold and I hadn’t had time to sit at home and express, prioritising a Temperley event I simply wasn’t prepared to miss. Perhaps not the best decision I’ve made

2. The day I was eating Panda liquorice, carrot batons and drinking Earl Grey tea without milk after failing to find anything dairy free in our fridge after a holiday when Baby Boy had been screaming and vomiting pretty non-stop and I had committed to eating dairy-free for a week to see if it could help him

3. The evening Daddy T was out for dinner and drinks and Baby Boy and Baby Girl had woken up in the evening at the same time, causing complete chaos and refusing to accept it wasn’t an option to sleep in my bed, as I was nowhere near interested in going to bed at the time

4. On Sunday when I think I’d reached a new height of tiredness, suddenly realising I had been sleeping while sitting on a sofa in loud and busy family club Purple Dragon with Baby Boy fast asleep in my lap. Clearly a fab place to catch up on sleep for both of us

5.The day I realised Baby Boy was screaming and vomiting less after starting Gaviscon and Ranitidine for reflux, which I hadn’t wanted to give him at first, as I wasn’t as convinced as health professionals it would be a good idea trying the medication since the symptoms seemed different from what I remembered from when Baby Girl was little. Another brilliant decision
