A day with dad

Daddy T was walking around with a printed out email in one hand and Baby Girl in the other. He had the morning shift, and was following a list I had emailed him with activities and times. It was painful to leave them though.

I was going for a haircut and when I ran out the door in the morning, Daddy T shouted that I had to remember to keep my phone on. In the cab on the way to the salon, I texted them twice.

First, I was worried he would take Baby Girl out without a hat. Then, I remembered that I should tell him to call the salon directly in case I didn’t get a signal there and he needed to speak to me. Later I called them to check that they had received my texts.

But they were doing fine. Daddy T and Baby Girl were on schedule. It was just past nine when I called, and they were on their way to our family club as specified in the email.

And Baby Girl was even wearing a hat.
