When Baby Boy becomes Big Boy
On Saturday Baby Boy walked up to the birthday party boy at his friend’s party and said “Happy Birthday” to him. It made me think that it’s time to move on.
Baby Boy has just turned 2 and is everything but a baby. He can sit down around a big table and eat party food with all the older children, and he’s as excited as Big Girl when it comes to eating cake or receiving a party bag.
He also surprised me by telling others it was my birthday last week, and is still daily mentioning that he had a “Laa-Laa birthday party” despite it being two weeks ago now.
There’s been a complete transformation in the past few months–Baby Boy is now officially Big Boy.
