0Baby’s first Christmas present
Christmas has come early for Baby Girl. She received her first ever Christmas present yesterday. A friend came over with a big box with a large pink bow, and it was too exciting for Baby Girl to wait with opening it.
I think she likes presents. She’s become used to receiving presents in her advent calendar, and I’m quite sure she enjoys looking at what’s inside when we unwrap them.
But her advent calendar presents are nothing like the big Christmas present she received yesterday. The big box was a true keepsake. I think Baby Girl realised that too. At least she should have when she saw that her name had been painted on the box.
Baby Girl’s first Christmas present was a large wooden, cream-coloured memory box with a cute teddy and heart design on the lid and her name on the side.
The box, which is from Toril Design, is ideal for storing little things from her first year, such as her hospital wristband, christening invitation, photos from the ultrasound scans and other little things we have lying around. I think Baby Girl is starting to like Christmas.
