0Where to find the best decaf coffee in South West London
Being pregnant my daily latte has become a daily decaf latte, but some cafes keep disappointing me. It might be that they don’t do decaf at all, charge more for a decaf than a regular latte, or the decaf coffee simply doesn’t taste very nice. I like mild coffees now, and here are my very favourite decaf coffee spots in Chelsea, Fulham, Battersea, Belgravia and South Kensington:
Peggy Porschen
It’s not just the cupcakes I love in Peggy Porschen on Elizabeth Street in Belgravia. I think they get the coffees right too, and in recent weeks Baby Girl and I have been going for a girly treat before Monkey Music in St Michael’s church up the road.
Gail’s
I often put on extra parking when seeing my consultant at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital to have time to buy a coffee from Gail’s on Fulham Road, or I make an impromptu stop on King’s Road only to get my favourite coffee. If there’s a Gail’s nearby, I try to make sure I have enough time to go because the coffees are brilliant – including the decaf ones. In addition to the King’s Road and Fulham Road locations, Gail’s have cafes outside South Kensington station and on Northcote Road in Battersea.
Megan’s
In Fulham, Megan’s is my favourite coffee place, and the decaf coffees taste lovely too. It’s the ideal place for me to stop when walking up New King’s Road to King’s Road, and I always make an effort to stop and pick up one of the sweet blue take away cups with my decaf latte.
