Best family summer events in South West London
Before having Baby Girl, I had never been to a summer fete in London, and I was completely oblivious to the large number of summer events taking place in parks around South West London. But now I’m constantly walking around in Chelsea and Fulham and keep seeing banners with exciting family events advertised. Here’s a list of some of my favourites so far:
Edwardian Garden Party at Fulham Palace
I was sold after I read there was going to be a teddy bear picnic at this event. With Baby Girl loving playing tea party with teddy, a teddy bear picnic sounds like it would be right up her street. In addition, I’m sure she would also love making and decorating hats, dancing and playing garden games. If the weather is good, the Edwardian Garden Party at Fulham Palace is an event I don’t want us to miss.

Summer BBQ at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo
We’re big fans of Battersea Park Children’s Zoo, which I’m a brand ambassador for, and we regularly visit this lovely zoo with a large play area. Next week, the annual Friends of Battersea Park Barbecue will take place at the zoo, and there will be activities for children, as well as live music. Tickets, which can be purchased online HERE, include zoo access, barbecue, salads and puddings.

Fair on the Green in Parsons Green
I’m also excited about the Fair on the Green, where I’ve read there will be more than 100 stalls, two stages–one with children’s acts–and fair rides, a bouncy castle and more. It sounds pretty amazing!
