0Introducing drinking cups with no lids

Baby Girl, who is now 22 months old, can’t drink from just any cup. She might not be in the mood for yellow, or she might need one that matches her plate, or she might need one that’s easier to hold.
She has become rather particular about what tableware to use, and we’ve had to get her lots of new cups recently, as she doesn’t “need” lids anymore.
Here are a few of the best cups we’ve come across for toddlers:
Rice
I love the small melamine cups from Rice (see picture at the top), which come in a great selection of colours. We’ve bought a number of them in various colours from Igloo (£2.50 each), and they’re very practical for when Baby Girl has friends over.
BabyBjorn
I recently also received a sample of the BabyBjorn baby cups (see picture in the top left corner), which are excellent for children starting to drink from cups without lids. The cups (£13.99 for a pack of 2) are easy to hold and they have a wide base, so they don’t tip. I also like that they have measurements on them, so I can still keep track of how much milk she drinks in the morning. The cups are suitable to use from eight months of age, and they can also be used for food, as they have rounded edges inside, making it easy to scoop up food.
Tulipop
Since Baby Girl has developed strong opinions on design, she often has a preference for colourful tableware, and one of her favourite dinner sets is the Bubble set by Tulipop, a set we received as a sample earlier this year. The colourful melamine Bubble cup (£5) is adorable and a good size for children of different ages.
