0Stress-free tube journeys for London mums
Ever tried Parsons Green to Bond Street on tube with a buggy?! This would normally be my idea of a nightmare. That’s why I was so excited when I realised it didn’t have to be as bad as it sounded.
Before walking over to Parsons Green station the other week, I opened up Gobaby App, now advertising on Mummy in the City. Based on the information in the app, I found out we would be much better off walking to Fulham Broadway, and instead of going via Notting Hill Gate and taking Central, Green Park and Jubilee was the best route when travelling with a buggy.
And we did it – without too many stairs, me getting exhausted and Baby Girl getting upset. In fact, I had a chance to relax on the tube, and 17-month old Baby Girl was happy munching away on her raisins and staring at our fellow travellers.
Using Gobaby App to plan a step-free or almost step-free route instead of struggling up long staircases, carrying the buggy, can make it so much easier to travel on the tube with young children.

Gobaby App, which has ranked 8 in lifestyle apps in the App Store, is the first app identifying step-free London Underground, Overground and DLR stations and more than 1,000 nearby baby changing spots including cafes, libraries, museums, restaurants and retailers. The app also includes all Boots pharmacies, and as of February, it includes details of activities for under 5s in the review section for each London Museum. It can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play for £1.49.
