0Best restaurant for breakfast in Covent Garden
As soon as Baby Girl started solids, we started making the most of meal-times. No more long mornings at home. Eating breakfast or brunch out is what counts. That’s why we suddenly haver expertise in a new field–top restaurants with early opening times.
In Covent Garden, Balthazar is our favourite spot for breakfast. A Sunday breakfast at this New York institution makes me feel like I’m on a weekend break in the Big Apple. Exactly what we need in the summer.
On weekdays Balthazar opens at 7.30am and on Saturdays and Sundays it opens at 9am. The weekend brunch menu is served from 10am – 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and includes a mix of typical breakfast dishes, such as eggs on toast with jams on the side, and lunch dishes, such as salads and burgers.
Balthazar is based in Russell Street, next to Apple Market in Covent Garden, and a selection of tables are available to book online. There are high chairs for young customers.
