23 of the best toiletries for baby and toddler
Weleda Calendula Nappy Change Cream
We’ve tested a number of nappy creams and my favourite product continues to be Weleda Calendula Nappy Change Cream, which was initially recommended to us by a paediatrician. I think this thick cream, designed to protect the skin, quickly heals redness, and it doesn’t appear to sting when applied to a sore area. The formula includes zinc oxide like many other nappy creams, and it also has calendula, chamomile extracts and other organic ingredients.
Mustela PhysiObébé No-rinse Cleansing Fluid
I received a sample of Mustela PhysiObébé earlier this year, and I instantly fell in love with the product, as it suits our busy morning routines. I’ve stocked up with several bottles now, and every morning I dab some of it on a cloth or large cotton pad to clean Baby Girl’s face. I like that it’s not necessary to use water to rinse it off, making it quick and convenient, and that it smells lovely in addition to being free from alcohol, parabens and phthalates. Mustela PhysiObébé No-rinse Cleansing Fluid can be used from birth on.
Childs Farm Shampoo
For bathtime, one of our favourite products has become the strawberry and organic mint Childs Farm Shampoo for luscious locks, which I received to review and will be buying more of as soon as we run out of it. I’ve previously tended to stick to hair and body wash products for Baby Girl, but I love the no sting formula of the Childs Farm products and the shampoo seems ideal for young children. Baby Girl isn’t a fan of getting soap in her eyes, but this is the haircare product I’ve had the most success with so far. More than 98% of the ingredients in the shampoo are natural.
I agree with all of these toiletries! I also love the Child’s Farm brand, particularly the hand and body lotion and the conditioner!
Glad to hear you agree, Ellen! I haven’t tried the conditioner yet, so thanks for recommending that too. I’ll definitely keep that in mind! Tine x
