0Celebrating Bioderma’s mild ABCDerm range for keeping children’s skin soft
Every summer there’s one little shop where I love spending some time, browsing the shelves and typically coming out with a tote bag with new goodies. It’s the pharmacy in a town we visit in the south of France.
There are always skincare products that get me excited in French pharmacies, and that’s why I was also delighted to go to French brand Bioderma’s event at Maggie & Rose in April, which I had been invited to attend.
Bioderma was celebrating its ABCDerm range with gentle products suitable for babies and children, and while the children were busy colouring penguins and having face paint, I had a chance to familiarise myself with the ABCDerm products.
I was thrilled to see a product that looked similar to Bioderma’s popular Micelle water, but suitable for little ones. The ABCDerm H20 Micelle solution can be used for cleansing, and it is a product I would use on a cotton pad to clean the children’s faces at bedtime and in the morning. It seems soothing and ideal for sensitive skin.
I also like that the range featured a number of products with a practical pump. When bathing a child, it’s convenient to have one hand free, and it’s great to see this recognised in children’s bath products.
In addition, I liked the large sizes of some products in the ABCDerm range. Both the ABCDerm H20 Micelle Solution and the ABCDerm Mild Foaming Cleansing Gel come in large sizes–1 litre–which make them great for families with several children.
The ABCDerm range also includes special baby-focused products, such as BIODERMA ABCDerm Cradle Cap Treatment and a cream for irritation around the mouth.
We received several goodies to take home, and as I have sensitive skin myself, I was delighted to get to try Bioderma’s family-style 1 litre Atoderm Shower Oil. This is one product I’ll be sure to buy again, as anything that works for the whole family is simply mega practical and the oil feels soft and soothing on dry skin.
