Where to find birthday party bag fillers online

When Big Girl turned two I remember walking around souvenir shops at London attractions, looking at little bouncy balls and things I figured could work as party bag extras.

I had no idea where to find the little toys she had received in other party bags, and I was surprised at how difficult they seemed to be to locate in the shops I tried to go to.

Now I can’t believe how completely clueless I was, and I’ve realised I’ve learnt a lot since becoming a mum.

Before Big Girl’s summer birthday party this year I was not in any souvenir shop. Instead, I was excited to have discovered a company fully dedicated to party bags, and I had the opportunity to pick some things to review from Party Bags and Supplies.

On a rainy Friday afternoon Big Girl and I curled up on the sofa and looked through a tonnes of options. There was so much choice, and we first went from spending our review voucher on just Minnie Mouse-themed party favours to going bespoke and picking all her favourites–purses with sparkles, wooden watch bracelets, and smiley hand drums.

We could have gone for the quick option of buying pre-filled bags, but we liked the colourful party boxes–which would also be good for food–and all the other little accessories. I couldn’t believe the prices either. They were very different from souvenir shops, and the sparkly girly purses proved very popular and were only 50p each.

The one challenge is that most items come in a variety of colours, so I tried to divide them out in the boxes, ensuring each partygoer had fillers in a mix of colours.
