Blue Almonds helps London mums get kids beach-ready
When Daddy T travelled to Palm Beach in Florida without me last year, he was armed with instructions of what to shop where. He was sent to Rapunzel’s Closet to buy Babiators–my favourite baby sunglasses–and he was told to return home with accessories from UV protection swimwear brand Snapper Rock for the kids.
These were some of the summer essentials I’d fallen in love with on previous holidays in the US, and had struggled to find in London. This season, however, baby and children’s boutique Blue Almonds on Walton Street in South Kensington has changed that. They’ve introduced a special holiday collection in-store, including many amazing discoveries by Blue Almonds founder Izabela.
When I met Izabela, she talked about how she’d been inspired by holidays abroad and I was thrilled to hear she shared my love for the stylish and durable Babiators with flexible frames. Blue Almonds now stocks Babiators in different sizes in the Walton Street shop, making them brilliant options for not only babies and toddlers, but young children in general.
She’s also introduced UV 50+ children’s sun protection swimwear from Snapper Rock, a US brand with cool surfer style rash vests, shorts, swimsuits and more, which I’ve also never seen for sale in a permanent London shop before.
In addition to cool US imports, the new collection includes UV protection swimwear from Sunuva and summer hats, accessories and clothes from a number of other brands.
Expect to see things you may find in a chic hotel boutique, but get excited about packing for your family holiday in the sun instead!
