0Booking tickets for Mary Poppins on West End
In 2009, I stopped by the TKTS booth on Times Square in New York and bought a ticket to see a musical the same evening. I secured a single seat seven rows from the stage at the New Amsterdam Theatre and was ready to soak up a truly uplifting, feel-good performance. It was Mary Poppins that was simply supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
Three years later I became a mum, and in recent years I’ve started introducing the children to musicals. I’ve kept thinking back to the wonderful memory I have from my one and only solo musical evening, and I’ve regularly looked for news about Mary Poppins on stage.
In autumn, I was thrilled to read the announcement that Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s musical Mary Poppins was returning to Prince Edward Theatre, and I can’t wait to take the family to see the production.
Mary Poppins will be playing at Prince Edward Theatre–currently the home of Disney’s Aladdin–from 23 October 2019, and so far, it is only presale tickets that have been available to book. The official ticket release is on Monday 28 January at 10am.
