Bratz are back with new creative and current fashion doll collection

‘We can take turns, Mummy’

Baby Girl was very excited when she opened her new doll last week, which had pink hair and came with much-desired accessories like an iPhone, two iPhone cases and smiley face earrings. The stylish and creative doll was the brand new Bratz Cloe SelfieSnaps doll (£16.99), and I think Baby Girl suggested we could both play with the doll after seeing that I too enjoyed opening the box and seeing all the little extra bits and bobs.

I had seen the doll at the Bratz relaunch event earlier in July, where the brand new collection of Bratz dolls were showcased, and I had left with the feeling that these dolls, which ooze individuality, appear to be bang up to date when it comes to fashion accessories and playset themes that I would assume interest many school-aged girls today.

There are five dolls in the Bratz friends group and they all have different personalities that come across in how they dress, accessories and extras. The new release now includes not only the standard dolls that showcase their characteristics, but also themed playsets showing their selfie style and smartphones in the Bratz SelfieSnaps collection; showcasing the dolls doing healthy hobbies in the Bratz Fierce Fitness collection; exploring different countries and cultures in my favourite collection, the Bratz Study Abroad collection; and hitting the slopes in the Bratz SnowKissed collection.

Although I think three-year-old Baby Girl is still a bit young for Bratz and other fashion dolls, even she loved the tech-inspired accessories in the SelfieSnaps playset she received, and one of the first things she did after we started playing with her Cloe doll was to choose an iPhone case for the doll’s pink iPhone. Baby Girl also helped Cloe put on her necklaces and get her ready for a mini photo shoot where Baby Girl was the photographer and the camera was my iPhone.

At this rate, I’m sure it won’t be long before we also get the Bratz app and watch the new Bratz webisodes. Everything about the Bratz doll relaunch feels very current and engaging!
