0Breast milk production
Daddy T has complained that Baby Girl must have inherited some of my bad traits – mainly being a tiny bit impatient. She’s not exactly willing to wait five minutes if she’s due for a feed and we’re running late.
But I’m not the most patient person in the world either. My main area of frustration recently has not been food though. It’s been food production. Owning the single Medela breast pump was not for me.
Just knowing that a double one exists has been stressing me out. Every time I’ve produced 100ml of breast milk, I’ve been thinking that I could have had 200ml.
The problem is that we’ve not exactly been skimping on baby equipment either. I’m not sure why Baby Girl is sleeping in top of the range, hand-smocked nightgowns, while I saved us £130 but have to spend twice as long as necessary on the sofa strapped to a pump.
Daddy T agreed. He fixed the problem for me this week. He signed up for Amazon Prime, ordered the Medela Freestyle Pump and the next day I could relax. I’m no longer wasting time.
