0When to bring out the iPad
Yesterday a 3.5-year-old neighbour raised a very good question.
“Why does she have her own iPad?”
Baby Girl was standing next to us, shouting ‘my, my, my’ and clinging onto her iPad. This was the same iPad I used to think was mine, and it was the same iPad Daddy T probably thought was his at some point.
But things change. It can be very difficult to argue with a toddler, who has decided she wants to play on the iPad despite just getting a new dollhouse, an extensive collection of the impressive Schleich toy animals and having friends over for a play date.
That iPad is gone.
It’s become our lifesaver when we’re stuck in traffic, in a waiting room, or travelling. It no longer has any apps for us. It’s all about downloading fun and educational apps for Baby Girl. It’s most definitely Baby Girl’s iPad.
