Bring on Christmas with magical film A Christmas Star

A Christmas Star FilmWhen Daddy T was suffering from man flu the other day he put on his joggers, collapsed on the sofa and kept asking if we had Lemsip or something else that could make him feel better. I figured he didn’t really need any medicines. Instead, I recommended a hot chocolate and a Christmas film.

He was in luck and got to watch new charming Christmas film A Christmas Star to review. The film, presented by children’s charity Cinemagic and Signature Entertainment, was released in cinemas nationwide on Friday. The innovative film production  features an impressive line-up of famous actors, including Pierce Brosnan, but there were also more than 40 trainee crew working on the film, which gave young actors the chance to star alongside legends.

A Christmas Star, narrated by Liam Neeson, tells the story of the young girl Noelle who lives in a small town in Ireland, where there’s a factory making Christmas snow globes. Noelle realises she has magic powers to do good, and when the factory is at risk of being closed down she can help save the workplaces.

With a mix of miracles and kind gestures, this modern day Christmas story is a heartwarming family film, which not only works as a cure for man flu, but also for getting both young and old in the spirit of Christmas.
