0Where to buy Disney toys in London
Yesterday I sent Grandpa P and Baby Girl to Peter Jones to buy a new Minnie Mouse toy. Not a great idea.
I thought I’d come up with the perfect activity for them while I had a 30-minute appointment at Sloane Square, but I had no idea Minnie Mouse was so difficult to track down.
She’s one of those characters who seem to be everywhere when you’re not looking for her, but when you are in desperate need of a replacement Minnie Mouse for your little one, she’s suddenly nowhere to be seen.
I had gotten Baby Girl all excited about Grandpa P taking her to buy a new Minnie Mouse toy, and I felt a bit guilty when I saw them returning from the shop with a bag of Peppa Pig toys instead.
Grandpa P had been informed he had to go to Harrods or Oxford Street to buy Minnie Mouse, so he’d ended up buying Baby Girl other toys instead to cheer her up before we made it to Harrods.
The Disney Store in Harrods was the perfect place to spend a Wednesday morning though. The staff were super friendly, and seemed excited about having a little 18-month old Minnie Mouse fan in store. They gave Baby Girl some cute Minnie Mouse paper ears to wear, and we had several cute Minnie Mouse toys to choose from.
At the end, Baby Girl also found a Minnie Mouse vacuum cleaner, which we decided it would be very silly to leave without. Anything for a little bit of peace.
The Disney Stores in central London are located on Oxford Street, in Covent Garden, Westfield, and at Harrods. Harrods also has some Disney Characters in the Toy Kingdom.
