Buying a baby DVD
Baby Girl is already demonstrating that she’s in tune with the times. She’s not a big fan of her baby gym. I think it’s too traditional for her. It’s simply not contemporary enough.
She much prefers her latest toy, which is more fitting for a 2012 iBaby. It’s a baby DVD, featuring classical music, colourful toys and high contrast abstract images.
It was our maternity consultant Hattie, who suggested we could get Baby Girl this DVD. It’s a Baby Mozart DVD from Baby Einstein, part of the Walt Disney Company. Baby Girl seems to love it. She sits on my lap and we watch a few minutes together every day before bathtime.
The only issue is that she’s started to look a bit confused when she sees me watching breakfast shows in the mornings. It’s almost like she’s already annoyed I’m not constantly putting on her favourite movie. I guess they start early these days.
