Buying a Little Tikes slide to make the most of a London garden

When I noticed sun was on the forecast every day the other week, Baby Girl and I started driving around South West London looking for a slide. Daddy T had said he didn’t want us to have one, and before we had children a colourful slide would perhaps not have been my first choice for the garden either. But now it is all about making the most of our outdoor space and ensuring the whole family can enjoy the garden, so I decided to ignore him.

I guess it would have been difficult to hide the addition of a new plastic feature in the garden, but I also knew Daddy T would love the slide as much as us when he realised how great it would be for ensuring children would want to spend more time outside.

And the slide has been a real winner. Several other mums visiting recently have said they want to buy the same after seeing how popular it is, and even Daddy T agrees the Little Tikes slide is the ideal toy for a London garden.

Baby Girl and her friends like going up and down on it again and again, and it keeps them active despite not having a huge garden to run around in. It’s also not too tall, so I don’t feel I have to constantly worry about accidents.

In addition, a slide is perfect for play dates. There’s no arguing about the best toy, which can be a relief when you’re dealing with two to three-year-olds. Everyone can have their turn on Baby Girl’s new Little Tikes slide.
