0Celebrating American-style Beko appliances at Maggie & Rose
The other day I was holding onto a washing machine photo cut out, sticking my head through the door and smiling. It was just another London Saturday with four-year-old Big Girl and me making new discoveries.
We were at the Beko Tea Party at Chiswick family club Maggie and Rose, celebrating the launch of the new American-style Beko Fridge Freezer and the new collection of Beko washing machines with celebrity mums like Denise van Outen and Michelle Heaton. The new fridge freezer features EverFresh+ technology, keeping fruit and vegetables fresh for up to 30 days.
The new Beko washing machines also sound more like what I’ve heard my American friends are used to when it comes to capacity and features. One of the new machines can fit up to five bed linen sets in one go, and there’s a quick-wash setting allowing families to wash a full load in 32 minutes.
To get it all to work in between school runs, there’s also a time-delay function, allowing families to schedule a wash to start at a convenient time.
At the Beko Tea Party, however, it was the cut-out cardboard washing machine we tried out in between the arts activities with enthusiastic Maggie & Rose staff. That version may not have had all the glorious features but it made our morning brilliant fun!
