Celebrating story time with Yetili from Yeti Tales
‘Do you think he lives here?’
When we went to a Tiny Pop event at Waterstones Piccadilly over half term, the big topic of discussion was if we were in the actual book shop that Yetili lives in. We had been invited to join Tiny Pop at Waterstones Piccadilly to enjoy a story reading from Yetili of popular kids TV show Yeti Tales, and the charming Yetili was an instant hit with the children.
In the TV show, Yetili lives in a book shop and the friendly Yetili reads a story to his friends – two little mice – after the book shop closes for the day.
This is also what Yetili did at the event. Families could hear giant plush toy Yetili read The Cat in the Hat by Dr Seuss (HarperCollins, £6.99) in the Yetili story session before taking part in drawing activities.
We returned home with a drawing of a book cover–and a very large number of photos of the adorable Yetili.
