Chelsea restaurant BRGR.CO introduces kids meals
When we first visited King’s Road burger restaurant BRGR.CO at lunchtime on a weekend last spring there was a 20-minute wait for a table, but a customer who was on his way out passed the open kitchen shouted to us that it was worth the wait. We waited and Daddy T and I liked the burgers too, only missing a kids burger for Big Girl.
When we returned for a Sunday lunch, which we’d been invited to, before Christmas I remembered I hadn’t seen a kids menu last time and was quick to order a side of mac and cheese for three-year-old Big Girl. This time, however, we soon noticed that the family sitting on a table nearby had little burgers for their kids, and I managed to change our order in time.
Big Girl has never been big on burgers, but when her plate with two kids burgers and fries arrived, she was pretty much as thrilled as when she’d seen her chocolate milkshake arrive at the table ten minute earlier.
We all had the same food, and she was ready to take a big bite of her burger after we taught her to put ketchup on first and hold onto the bun.
BRGR.CO was already a convenient destination for a burger lunch on a busy shopping day on King’s Road – and it’s become an even better one now there is a cool kids option on offer in this family-friendly restaurant!
