0Chestertons Polo in the Park to return to Fulham in June
One of the summer events I’ve been excited to review in recent years is Chestertons Polo in the Park, which has become one of my favourite summer happenings. When we’ve been to the family day at Chestertons Polo in the Park we’ve bumped into lots of friends, and the children have had great fun taking part in the activities on offer.
Polo in the Park is now in its ninth year, and the event will be running at Hurlingham Park from 8 to 10 June 2018. Early bird tickets are now on sale and Sunday continues to be the family day.
Families can expect to see Sharky and George returning with activities for the children, and the highlight for us last year was the Sharky & George pitch invasion on the Sunday morning. The weather was gorgeous, and the children loved taking part in musical statues, tug-of-war and much more.
For 2018, a pitch invasion is on the schedule again, and Eddie Catz and Clip’n’Climb are also returning, bringing more family fun to the dedicated children’s area.
In addition to taking part in the many activities on offer, visitors can watch three matches of polo a day at the event, find unique gifts in the shopping village and enjoy a meal in The Grazing Paddock for restaurants and street food.
