Review: Cienta kids shoes for smart and practical footwear

Cienta ShoesBefore going on holiday in May I bought a pair of canvas shoes for Big Girl on a whim on the way to Heathrow, and back in London I kept seeing Big Girl’s friends opting for canvas shoes for summer too. It turns out canvas shoes are versatile and practical for kids, which is why I was really excited to hear about a new arrival on the UK canvas shoes scene–Cienta, a brand that offers the style of shoes Prince George was spotted wearing earlier in the year.

Spanish brand Cienta has been a canvas shoe favourite abroad, and stars like Sarah Jessica Parker has dressed her children in Cienta shoes.  We’ve recently received Cienta shoes for review, and Baby Boy has worn the navy Cienta T-bar shoes (£22) with button-fastening every day since opening the box.

The stylish navy unisex shoes look smart when paired with white socks and they seem comfortable to wear–although it’s struck me that they might be a tad narrow for him since he’s got wide toddler feet. The shoes are also the first scented kids shoes I’ve come across and Big Girl loves that her pink floral shoes smell of berries.

For me, it’s amazing that the shoes are machine-washable, making it easy to keep them clean. I also like that four-year-old Big Girl can easily put her Joanie Mary Jane shoes (£24) on without help as they have Velcro fastening, and the cushioned footbed make them look comfortable to wear for running around in summer.

Practical and smart-looking shoes for kids!
