0Communicating with baby
I’m not sure if I should be worried or not. The person making the decisions in our family is yet to start talking. Baby Girl cries and I guess. That’s how it works now.
Last week I guessed she wanted to go home sooner than planned. We were in Norway for a long weekend, and she didn’t seem to enjoy the cold weather. I persuaded Daddy T that rescheduling Baby Girl’s and mine tickets for £145 was practically a steal, and we returned home a day early.
She had been the only baby without a balaclava, and her little, pink Marie Chantal cashmere hat, which is ideal for UK weather, made her look like the odd one out in Norway.
Baby Girl also seemed to get distressed as soon as the cold air hit her face. If she were fast asleep inside, she would always wake up as soon as we took her out.
Back in the UK, Baby Girl could relax. I took her for lunch in Corbin & King’s new Sloane Square restaurant Colbert and life was back to normal.
