Cooking restaurant-style meals at home
When Uncle F was visiting the other week, he was under the impression we were going out in the evenings. He was wrong. We were staying in with Baby Girl, and Uncle F was cooking.
I had kindly ordered him a box from The Recipe Kit with three recipes and exact quantity ingredients, so he could cook different recipes, discover some new spices and ensure we had restaurant-style meals in the comfort of our own living room.
It was a win-win. He likes cooking, but wasn’t familiar with the concept, so he got a new holiday experience. We practically had a private chef serving delicious food the whole weekend, including a superb Bavarian steak, which is not something we would have had on a normal Thursday night.
