0Testing the new moisturising Clinique Crayola Chubby Stick
This weeks my hands have completely dried out, and Big Girl is complaining about the same problem. We’re not doing too well in this big freeze, and I’ve tried to start getting more winter-ready with an emergency kit at hand.
The emergency kit mainly consists of a hand cream and the brand new Clinique Crayola Chubby Stick (£17.50) I’ve received to review. I’ve come to love having the brand new moisturising lip colour balm in my pocket, and it now comes everywhere with me.
I remember always having a lip balm in my bag in winter in Scandinavia, but living in London I’ve practically forgotten about moisturising products. In this cold weather, however, I can’t survive without, and that’s why the January launch of the new partnership between Crayola and Clinique have come at the perfect time.
The two household brands have teamed up to create a new range of limited edition Clinique Crayola Chubby Sticks, which look like chunky Crayola crayons. The colourful and nourishing tinted lip balms feature some of Crayola’s best known colours and are designed to transport women back to their childhood.
So far the range is only available from Selfridges and the Clinique online boutique, and from 3 February the limited edition collection will be available at all Clinique counters.
I hardly ever carry make-up on me, but the cute Pink Sherbert is easy to apply and I use it throughout the day to avoid cracked lips and add some subtle colour. I like that it’s fragrance-free and contains shea butter, making it feel smooth and moisturising.
The only challenge is to keep it to myself, as four-year-old Big Girl clearly likes the look of it too. But she can have the other 100 crayons we have in the house. I only want this one.
Ideal for busy mums on the go!
