Kids Christmas gingerbread house workshop at Bluebird
On Thursday 7 December Chelsea’s Bluebird is hosting a kids Christmas gingerbread house making event at 3.30pm in the Food Store. Attendees can create their dream gingerbread house, and the £20 tickets include all the house-making necessities, as well as refreshments.
Kids Christmas event at Biscuiteers
On Saturday 9 December from 10.30 to 11.30am there is a Little School of Biscuiteers Christmas event in the Biscuiteers boutique on Northcote Road in Battersea. During the class, recommended for children aged 7 and over, attendees can learn how to ice biscuits like a Biscuiteer. At the end of the lesson they’ll receive a certificate of excellence as well as a Biscuiteers Apron and all of their iced creations. Tickets to the event are £36 per child and can be booked by phone on 02079 245 488. Children of all ages are welcome to book the DIY Christmas kids icing event at Biscuiteers on Northcote Road on Friday 15 December. There are one-hour slots for this event from 1 to 4pm, and children can enjoy biscuit icing and festive fun. Tickets are £15 per child.
Oglee Poglee kids craft drop-in sessions at Natural History Museum Ice Rink
On Sunday 10 December and Sunday 17 December from 11am to 3pm, skaters can enjoy drop-in craft sessions run by children’s craft party and workshop organisers Oglee Poglee in the Natural History Museum Ice Rink Café Bar. The crafts sessions are recommended for children aged 3 and over and they are free to attend.
Christmas candle wreath making at Cowshed
In Primrose Hill, grown-ups can book tickets to a FLOWERBX Candle Wreath Workshop hosted in the Cowshed Primrose Hill spa on 14 December from 6 to 9pm. FLOWERBX florists will teach attendees how to build wreaths using a variety of seasonal foliage and Cowshed therapists will be on hand offering scalp or hand massages. There will also be cocktails by St-Germain and festive canapés. Tickets are £60 with £10 from the ticket redeemable against any Cowshed Christmas gifts on the night, and Cowshed candle and FLOWERBX wreath are included in the ticket price.
Hampers and gift-wrap demonstration
At the Hobbycraft store near IKEA in Croydon there are two floors of arts and crafts supplies, and on Saturday 9 December shoppers can enjoy an in-store hampers and gift wrap demonstration between noon and 2pm. The demonstration will include tips on how to wrap presents and create Christmas hampers.

Late night Christmas shopping at Katie & Jo
Tonight there’s a late night shopping event at fashion boutique Katie & Jo with jewellery brand Davina Combe and cigar accessory brand Puro Prestige. Shoppers can enjoy champagne, discounts, styling tips and engraving from Davina Combe on her disc necklaces. The event is taking place from 6 to 8pm in the Katie & Jo boutique on New King’s Road in Parsons Green.
