Daytime sleep
I’m starting to understand why most nursing tops are in black or white. It must be because these colours work well with drool stains.
I’m not sure what I was thinking when I bought a light blue one. I certainly hadn’t considered if it would work as part of a daytime sleep costume.
Daddy T and I have just realised drooling is very hard to hide on certain colours, making them completely unsuitable to wear for new parents. It’s important to dress to be prepared to make the most of any opportunity to top up on sleep.
Having a haircut is no longer about chatting to the hairdresser. It’s practically like checking into a hotel for an hour.
It’s the same with the bus. As long as it’s possible to get a cab home from the last bus stop if it were to become difficult to get up at the right time, it’s best not to waste time.
