2Decorative cushions for stylish children’s rooms
Harriet Hare
I love the quality of the fabrics used by this brand, and for girls who have a dusty pink-themed room, this cushion with a jumping hare can make a lovely addition. There’s also matching bed linen and lampshades in the range, and all items are available in blue for boys too.
Love Frankie
When I went to Dot to Dot London, a trade show for independent children’s brands, the other week, I spotted the colourful and fun brand Love Frankie (see picture at the top), which originally started with lighting and now offers a range of home accessories and children’s clothes. I particularly liked the lampshades and cute cushions, and since Baby Boy’s room will be grey and yellow I could see some of these cushions being a good fit for his upcoming nursery.
My Little Venture
For more unisex styles, I think the luxurious My Little Venture cushions are a brilliant choice, and the sweet fabrics can work with a variety of colour schemes. The designs include details, such as ties on the back, and I particularly like the yellow blossom cushions (see picture), which I think can grow with a child, making it long-lasting.
Sheridan
I really like the baby range from Australian brand Sheridan, which has a shop on King’s Road, and they also do a junior collection with animal-shaped cushions. These scatter cushions can be fun to mix with other square cushions, and they clearly appealed to Baby Girl who came with me to the last Sheridan press preview and returned home with a pink birdie for her room (see picture of bird-shaped cushion above).
I love my little venture cushions ! Love those blossoms ! Good choice 😉
I agree – they’re beautiful!
