On Monday I made a quick escape from my laptop and headed to Mandarin Oriental for an event with Chestertons Polo in the Park. I walked straight into a presentation by George from Sharky & George, who was wearing a full sticky suit with velcro fastening.
It turns out throwing balls on an entertainer wearing this is one of the many fun party games on offer by Sharky & George, which is in charge of the pitch invasion in the morning on Sunday 10 June at Fulham’s Chestertons Polo in the Park.
After attending the pitch invasion several years now, we’ve come to love bouncing around on the Polo space hoppers, having a giggle at the giant tug of war and seeing the excitement of taking part in grandma’s footsteps.
Polo in the Park is now in its ninth year, and the event will be held in Hurlingham Park from 8 to 10 June 2018.
Sunday continues to be the family day, starting with the pitch invasion. There are also other family activities, with both Eddie Catz and Clip’n’Climb returning, bringing more family fun to the dedicated children’s area.
In addition to taking part in the many activities on offer, visitors can watch three matches of polo a day at the event, find unique gifts in the shopping village and enjoy a meal in The Grazing Paddock, which will have pop-up restaurants and kids meals this year in addition to mobile restaurants.
