0When Disney on Ice in London becomes the event of the year
“Is it Disney on Ice time, Mummy?”
Baby Girl has added a new term to her ever-growing vocabulary. We’re now talking about tidy up time, dinner time, bedtime, nighttime – and of course Disney on Ice time.
It’s several months since we took 2.5-year-old Baby Girl to see Disney on Ice at The O2, but this memory is still very fresh. Grandpa P, who is also a fan, complained we were sitting very far from the stage and should book tickets earlier next time, but for the main person this didn’t seem to matter at all.
Baby Girl is still playing with her princess wand from the outing and the Disney on Ice programme has made it in to nursery on several occasions. For the very first time, I’ve read a programme from start to finish many times, and I often find myself having conversations with Baby Girl about scenes from the last show, including Mickey having been in a balloon and the scary fish not being able to get Nemo’s daddy.
I have a feeling Disney on Ice will become a regular feature in our calendar for years to come, and I’ll probably have to get really into ticket release dates going forward.
It’s all about Baby Girl!
Tickets for Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment, which will be on at The O2 from 22-29 December 2015, will go on sale at 9am on 10 April
