Event: Goody bags and entertainment at Mermaid Maternity Retreat this weekend
When I first heard about the opening of Mermaid Maternity Retreat last year, I thought it sounded like an amazing place to stay in the first days after having a new baby and being discharged from hospital. This is suddenly a year ago, and Mermaid Maternity Retreat, advertising on Mummy in the City, is already celebrating it’s first birthday.
To join in the celebrations and get an opportunity to see the stylish and welcoming retreat on King’s Raod, Mermaid is now inviting parents and parents-to-be for a fun-filled open weekend and a chance to meet the wonderful Mermaid team.
The event will include important birthday party features, such as cake and refreshments, (maternity) goody bags for the first 100 visitors, a photographer and entertainment for children. Entertainer Lucy Sparkles will be there to make glitter tattoos and balloons on both days, and you can have a free ‘bump’ or ‘baby’ photo taken courtesy of Julia Boggio Photography (bookings taken in advance).
Mums can also enjoy mini mani and pedi taster sessions, which can be booked at the time of arrival, and on Sunday afternoon there will also be reflexology and Indian head massage taster sessions with Lena. In-house experts will be on hand all weekend, and there will be opportunities to tour the full Mermaid facilities, including bedrooms, suite, spa and baby zone.
