0Our favourite baby and toddler books hit London
Whether it’s been reindeer, puppies or hamsters, we’ve loved them all. The That’s not my.. board books by Usborne, which have repetitive storylines and include different textures for little ones to touch, have been among our very favourite books in the past year. I think these books are brilliant for one-year olds, and since Baby Girl is so familiar with the series, I was very excited about being invited to see the new That’s not my.. bench near St Paul’s last week.
The colourful bench has been set up as part of the National Literacy Trust Books About Town campaign, and it’s worth stopping to see it if you’re in the area with little fans of the books.
The bench features a meerkat, a panda and a little mouse to spot, and it is located on Peter’s Hill. Every week Usborne is giving away 15 That’s not my.. books to visitors who enter the competition by posting their photos from the bench and using @Usborne and hashtag #thatsnotmy.
On Friday 15 August at 1pm, you can join Usborne’s Meerkat flahmob event by the bench. You can print your own meerkat mask here or collect a mask on the day.
The That’s not my bench will remain in place until September, and afterwards it will be auctioned off to raise money for children’s literacy projects.
