Filling a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child

Christmas decorationBaby Girl is a very charitable 14-month old. Some weeks back I spent my evenings wondering what to put in the harvest basket Baby Girl was donating to an elderly person. Now, I’m online researching what to put in a shoe box that she’s donating to a child in need.

I hadn’t heard about Operation Christmas Child before yesterday–which is what she’s now supporting–but after reading about it, I’m not really sure how I could have missed it since it sounds like an amazing initiative that I’m excited about getting involved with.

It’s clearly a good thing I have a baby now to keep me up to date with charity work.

After all, it’s not like Daddy T and I have anything better to do on a Friday night than to plan our shoe box decorations and pick out activity books, crayons, toys, hair accessories, and bath products to go inside.

Keep up the good work, Baby Girl.
