Finding a cute padded baby and toddler costume for Halloween
My shoulders dropped as soon as Baby Girl’s nursery teacher opened the door yesterday. Finally someone else in fancy dress. I was literally carrying a cheeky little monkey, and on the way from the car to the nursery I had started worrying that I’d had the dates mixed up.
I hadn’t seen any other children in costume in the streets around the nursery, and 14-month old Baby Girl was all in. She was wearing a plush baby monkey costume from Dress Up By Design in size 12-18 months with a padded tummy and a hat that seemed comfortable to wear and didn’t disturb her view. She had white tights and a white long-sleeved cotton body underneath the costume, which I bought on Amazon.
It was all super cute – but she would have looked completely out of place if there hadn’t been a Halloween party there.
