Finding last minute birthday presents
I’m done buying Global bread knives and Jo Malone candles. I’m officially making online gift certificates my new signature gift. I don’t have to leave the house. There are no set opening hours, and shipping can take seconds and not days. There are simply no better gifts for new mums trying to work around baby’s music lessons and play dates.
I used to be very organised when it came to buying birthday, housewarming and wedding presents, but now I’m even struggling to find out what I’m wearing in time for the actual events. Presents have to be fixed from the comfort of my own sofa and after Baby Girl has gone to bed.
That’s why I’m loving the e-vouchers from boutique hotel collection Mr & Mrs Smith. Mr & Mrs Smith has a 24-hour customer support service, which is useful when the email doesn’t arrive when planned, as it can take a few hours for these e-vouchers to be processed. I just hope we’re not the only ones among our friends and relatives who fancy taking a weekend break soon.
