0Finding private tutors in London
When I met Emily Jack from London tutoring company Kings Tutors at an event the other week, I discovered it was only a few years until Baby Girl and her little friends will be old enough to start having private tutoring if they need additional support after starting school. They’re growing up so fast!
This is a new world to me, but it was lovely meeting Emily and hearing more about the exam system and the role of private tutors. Kings Tutors offers private tutoring for children aged between 5 and 18, and Emily explained many are looking for a little additional support, boosting confidence and self-esteem and ensuring they can keep up with the pace set at school.
A tutor can focus on the individual needs of a pupil and go through the syllabus at a suitable pace for the child. In addition, a tutor can help teach the child skills needed to tackle exam papers.
I’ll keep Emily’s card on file in case we feel stuck in the years to come!
Tuition for the Common Entrance age group, including 7/8+, 11+ and 13+, is £45/hour, GCSE tuition is £52/hour and A Level tuition is £58/hour.
