Finding the best baby gift
On Monday, one of my problems was resolved. I had been worried about how Baby Girl would survive growing up without having owned an angel wing onesie from Marie Chantal as a baby.
I had been drooling over these onesies before I even had a baby, and we’ve given the velour one to friends as a newborn gift before. But I didn’t feel I could justify adding an angel wing sleepsuit onto our shopping list when preparing for our new arrival last year. That–and a cashmere dress I had my eye on–ended up on the list of items Daddy T decided were more appropriate as baby gifts.
But on Monday, this issue was fixed. Baby Girl received one as part of a box of samples from Marie Chantal. I was thrilled. It was like Christmas Day when I was seven.
The white angel wing onesie really is beautiful. The pima cotton one is ideal for summer, as the material is soft and light.
Since it comes in white, the angel wing onesie also makes a great gift when parents-to-be have chosen not to find out the sex of the baby at a scan and you need to buy the gift early. An angel wing onesie must be the ultimate unisex baby gift. Terribly cute.
